What's better than one turbine? Two Turbines.
The Ramos Blue was the second car designed by L and it feels as if it's an evolution on the Turbo L, the driver is still seated in the centre of the car, but while the Turbo L had one turbine, the Blue has two.
But that's where the similarities end. The Blue's design is inspired by an aeroplane - in addition to the two turbines it packs a pair of tall vertical rudders installed on the back to help with steering at high speeds. Two tubes move the fuel from the gas tank directly to the twin turbines. In terms of standard equipment, it includes lights in the front and the back (indicators are unnecessary), and a steering wheel - that's it! No need for awkward gearing in a turbine, you turn it on and propel yourself forward at high speeds, and no need for a windscreen - just remember to bring a helmet and a coat as it will get cold and windy!
The steering wheel is connected to the rudder so when driving at high speeds, turning the steering wheel will move the rudder to help with sharp turns. The upper wing helps with the downforce - as the Gs attained in this car are unbelievably high due to its high overall height from the ground!
This is simply a fast car. That's the purpose of this jet-powered bullet - as that's the most appropriate name for this vehicle. The Blue is lighter and focused on one thing: speed.
In terms of specs the Blue is the lightest Ramos car to date at 83.1 g (at least half than all the previous vehicles) so far and also the least wide (not counting the massive wing in the back). This comes at a price, as it is actually the most expensive car available at £44.60 new!
There is another cheaper variant of the Blue with a single turbine which virtually cuts the price in half - as the turbines are the most expensive part of the car and it's available for $37, but it will only be released

In this blog I plan to add some in-depth detailed information about all the cars I built in the period between 2005-2006. The next post will be about New Speed, another racing vehicle made by L!
